About Amber

Amber's main objectives in life have always centered around storytelling and building community, and when you think about it, both of those go hand-in-hand. Amber began her career as an English as a Second or Other Language (ESOL) instructor before she transitioned to community outreach, and then ultimately to working with libraries in a communications capacity.

Amber has been invited to speak on various topics surrounding librarianship and continues to advocate for bringing the library to community spaces. In her free time, Amber reads various genre fiction books and serves as a freelance book reviewer for ALA's Booklist.
